I always taught those who spoke well and loud triumph,
But now I think other wise.
The great speaker created a storm,
leaving behind him echoes cherished by none.
I was taught to believe “Be assertive” puts you on a upper hand
But now I do not think so.
You need only pause and listen to the ‘judgment’ lavished on you
The speaker will then tone himself down
and change his opinions lamented.
I used to believe you need colourful objects to attract children to learn
But this certainly is not so.
The children focus well after a short period of silent sitting.
I used to think by the age of fifty plus I would have learnt and done enough
to do nothing and laze around
But looks like I am wrong.
There are many, many more for me to learn and to do …….
